People of Faith

There is a holistic role that people of faith fill with the socioeconomically disadvantaged.
This role is at the heart of what we do.

Our founder, board members, donors, volunteers understand from our studies of the Bible
that the natural outflow of a love relationship with Jesus Christ is loving acts of service towards others. We believe:

• It is Christ-followers’ identity, privilege and calling to bless others through tangible acts of service: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:9)

• These tangible acts of service include bringing life-transforming good to the socioeconomically disadvantaged who are suffering -  “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress….” (James 1:27.)

• God is the One who takes up the cause of the socioeconomically disadvantaged: “But You, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to You; You are the Helper of the fatherless.” (Psalm 10:14)

• As Christ-followers, we are called to do the same, so that He can show His love and goodness through us: “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; please the case of the widow.” (Isaiah 1:17)

We, LoveAIDS, were created as a vessel to fulfill this calling, specifically to show through the love and compassion of Jesus
through tangible, life-transforming action  to HIV and AIDS patients.
