How We Work
With a current focus on Spanish-speaking countries, we recruit Spanish-speaking students who have a heart for long-term global work, are either in nursing or medical school or preparing for it, and are qualified (CNA training or equivalent minimum required) so they bring a tangible skill with them to offer local care teams.

We train on the field, training students on the specifics of HIV/AIDS, opportunistic infections including tuberculosis, the basics of mental health and trauma, and counseling skills/techniques to prepare students for future global work. We are students training students, and one day we will be medical and nursing leaders and professionals raising up more medical and nursing leaders and professionals.

We receive doctors, dentists, nurses, physical therapists, and other health care professionals we have built relationships with and who have a heart to be the hands and feet of Christ to HIV/AIDS patients and sex workers to come with us on our trips.

We work closely with the local church in each country, seeking to strengthen it, partnering together and building lasting relationships.

We build small teams and recruit by personal referral, often slowly building future partnership relationships long before we formally work together. Our focus is to be an effective organization, not a large organization.

We rely on the prayers of our supporters
as much as we rely on their financial generosity and partnership with us, and we ask boldly for financial support knowing we are doing God's work, and even more boldly for support through prayer.
